Tom Dobbs is a political satirist and a talk show host, played by Robin Williams, who decides to run for President. The all-star cast brings this political fantasy to life, but the story is contrived. Multiple fumbles and rehashed jokes squander a great idea on a barely competent execution.

Grade: C.

Coleman Silk, dean and professor of classics, resigns from his position after accusations of racism and begins an affair with a young custodian. Turmoil is epidemic in this small picture. The key revelation in the film feels clunky, unbelievable, and tacked on. Overall, the movie is watchable, but somewhat predictable.

Grade: C+.

This is an adaptation of the classic Capote story. Audrey Hepburn plays Holly Golightly in this film. Many changes were made to this film from the original novel. This was a much lighter story somewhat to the detriment of the film. This was an enjoyable film with a great cast.

In a sanitized world set some time in the future, permission to work and live in the cities is coveted and work visas are sold on the black market. The authoritarianism depicted here is taken for granted by the characters, which makes it somewhat scary, and the script is solid.

Grade: B-.

IMDB: Code 46.
