Horace Silver leads a legendary ensemble in this masterpiece recording from the early sixties. Joe Henderson’s tenor saxophone, Carmell Jones’ trumpet, and Silver on piano complement each other perfectly in this imminently listenable hard bop set. Silver’s compositions take inspiration from diverse sources and that makes this record a classic.
